About Tom Tommy's main roll on the team is extraction and disassembly of the engine. During the disassembly, exacting inspection of the intake system, cylinder head, pistons, bearings, lifters, etc. After reassembling and replacing the engine in the boat, Tommy operationally checks for leaks during  engine warm up and ensures safety and security on the right side. On A Personal Note I was born in Sanger and raised in Lakewood California. I've come from a long line of racing. My dad, Jim "Jazzy" Nelson, was inducted in the hall of fame for drag racing.  I worked with Jay Hartunian "Whiskey River" a couple of years ago in 2007 at the World Finals in Phoenix Arizona. I was lucky enough to help the "Toxic Rocket" team, durring the off season I asked Joe and Tommy Boghosian If they would talk to Ron Soares "Crew Chief" and Joe Cassidy "Owner" if I could join the team. As you can see, the rest is history. I am so lucky to be on a team that is so dedicated and hard working with only one thing on their minds, "WINNING"!!!   Thanks Puke Tank Tommy
